Pamela Anderson was born in Canada on Vancouver Island on July 1, 1967.  She was famous in Canada for being "The Centennial Baby" the first child to be born after Canada's 100th Birthday.  In 1988 her family moved to the city of Vancouver.  When she attended a British Columbia Lions football game, Pamela was "discovered" in a very unusual way.  She was dressed in a Labatt's Beer T-shirt and when her image was transmitted on the stadium's wide screen, the fans cheered the beautiful girl.  She was then brought down to the 50-yard line and introduced to the appreciative crowd.  She was signed to a commercial contract with Labatt's and became the company's "Blue Zone" girl.  The campaign was so popular that other commercials and advertising assignments for Pamela followed.  Because of the recognition from these commercials she was approached to do her first cover for Playboy magazine in 1989.  Pamela has been on the Playboy cover six times, which is more than any other woman in the magazine's history.

In 1991, she got the part of "Lisa", the "Tool-Time-Girl" on ABC's "Home Improvement".  It was on "Home Improvement" that she captured nationwide attention.  At the same time, Pamela was cast as 'C.J. Parker' on the internationally successful series Baywatch, but because of the impossible schedule of working on two hit shows, she eventually left "Home Improvement" and remained full-time on "Baywatch".  She starred in the comedy "Barb Wire" in 1996, and she was featured in the CBS movie "Deader Than Ever".

On New Year's in 1994, Pamela was attending a party in New York where she met Tommy Lee.  After four days of "dating" and non-stop partying, the two were married on a beach.  Pamela was wearing a bikini and Tommy was wearing just a pair of shorts.  They have two kids together and divorced in early 1998.  In 2001 Pamela Anderson was with Kid Rock and they were engaged to be married but aren't together anymore.

Pamela has a few new things up her sleeve lately including the cartoon series "Stripperella" which is Pamela's newest project.  She speaks the voice of the cartoon stripper and the cartoon is of her.  She has a role Scary Movie 3 and Pamela also is a spokesperson for PETA (an animal rights activist group)and model for their ads.
